In this workshop, participants will:

  • Discover and learn 5 key factors necessary when planning for promotion

    • Desire  - Do you have the desire to do more, be more, want more?

    • Self - Assessment (SWOT Analysis) Do you have what it takes? What additional skills do you need?

    • Mentors – Have you identified key leaders for guidance?

    • Network- Who do you know? (Community and industry leaders, advocates, )

    • Resilience – Do you have the stamina? It’s never a straight line.

In this workshop, participants will:

  • Identify three SMART Goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely)

  • Write down each goal

  • Create an actual vision board with pictures to support goals and feelings

  • Map out the first essential steps to achieving goals
